Drilling is hard physical work. You have to put up with dust, dirt, mud, grease and insects. You will be expected to work underground or outside in all weathers. Temperatures may be above 100 degrees or close to Zero. Some of the tasks you will be asked to complete will be interesting – most will be routine, repetitive and menial.

Work sites may be anywhere, most likely in remote areas with no access to towns or normal amenities – you eat, sleep and live literally on the job.
